Brittany Kirk, along with her younger brother Connor Kirk (13) was murdered by her step-father. She
is greatly missed by everyone from her school. We all love and miss her very much. She was 14, and
just about the skinniest girl you would have every seen. She had the most amazing light blue eyes
and creative personality. She was so silly and artsy. She could make anyone smile. Just by
talking to her would have lifted your mood. The world is a darker place without her.

i wanted to say to you all, you are not alone. and i understand how hard it is.
I saw Brittany's page on here and it plucked a cord in my heart. Brittany was 13days younger than my friend Liberty, who was murdered, November 1st 2008.
the cruel ways of this world seem to pluck our loved ones straight from our firm grips.
but god must have needed more angels.
I hope that all can love and support each other in the most deepest of ways.

You were obviously too good for this earth AND more than this TOO good for your EVIL STEP-father - no wonder 'step-fathers' have such a bad reputation! However, I am the mother of three children who have a 'step-father' and he is AMAZING. I really feel your pain, and, it might sound awful, but, you are probably better off.
